Sales Trainee / Junior

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Identify and create new business

  • Cold Calling, both face-to-face and on the phone
  • Qualify leads and follow through on them
  • Database management
  • Updating client information
  • Take a deal from its instigation through to close with the know-how to be creative
  • Maintain customer contact and follow up consistently
  • Attend Networking functions and meetings, and be active socially in business circles
  • Be willing to follow and be held accountable to a structured sales process with proven results

Skills and experience

  • Previous face to face sales experience is not a prerequisite but an outgoing vibrant personality and willingness to learn will be of great benefit
  • An understanding that high activity leads to high results and a willingness to put this into action.
  • Comfortable with technology and not afraid of change
  • The key to success is a strong hunger and desire to succeed within a competitive B2B sales environment.
  • You will need to be well presented, energetic and confident in approach with a ‘go getter’ attitude.
  • You will be highly personable, have excellent communications skills and not be afraid to build new relationships either via the phone or face to face.
  • You will be able to objectively review failures to identify breaks in the sales process, and actively work on these areas without taking rejection to heart.

There is a basic salary, car package and an uncapped commission structure on offer. Once you have completed the probation period and met your KPI targets for 3 months, your commission structure will afford you a realistic earning potential which exceeds $100k.

Service Engineer


Our Townsville branch is looking to employ a Photocopier Technician with an excellent work ethic and team focus to fill a position within our service team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the:

  • Installation, service & repair on our range of photocopiers, printers, MFD’s and interactive equipment
  • First stage diagnosis & fault finding of network related issues

Ideally, you will possess the following attributes:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of mono and colour digital printing products
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Good working knowledge of networks, PCs, software and operating systems, within a print/scan environment
  • High level of attention to detail
  • A professional image with personal attributes of honesty, reliability, and enthusiasm
  • Be able to work unsupervised and show initiative at all times.
